Sorry I haven’t blogged in so long… but between fashion weeks and award shows it’s been busy!

 I look forward to the Oscar fashions every year and well this year was pretty tame… the celebs seemed slightly scared to be too adventurous!! I would be too with all the slating that goes on… it can scare you for life!!

 Maybe all the ladies were inspired by Nicole Kidman’s iconic red Balenciaga dress from last year’s awards but all the ladies seemed to be in red this year. I just loooooooooooved Katherine Heigl’s red Escada gown. She looks like goddess in the bright colour! Katherine is fast becoming a style star… she knows what works for her and sticks to it. Very old Hollywood, especially with the hairdo and siren red lipstick…. glamazon!!!!!!!!

And Helen Mirren also looked fab in her wine-red dress by George Chakra, she always looks elegant on the red carpet. Classy lady!
 Jen Garner and Cameron Diaz also looked uber-stylish in their frocks! Cameron wore a gorgeous pale pink Dior dress and looked flirty and fun. She seems like such a fun girl… and it comes through in the way she dresses! Just fabulous! Jennifer Garner always pulls it together on the big nights… loved her black Oscar de la Renta gown. So elegant and it shows off her best features… her toned arms and shoulders and great jewels she has on… wonder if it’s a gift from her gorgeous hubbie Ben Affleck?

  After last year’s debacle you’d think Jennifer Hudson  would have made 100% sure her dress looked good on her or got a new stylist… because her white Roberto Cavalli frock was soooooooooooooooooooo unflattering on her. Any  girl who is buxom should know not to wear a dress that brings so much attention to them when they look bad… the dress makes her boobs look disformed. Such a pity!!

There were lots of trends at this years awards… lots of one shoulder dresses, strapless dresses, nudes, red (ovb!) and beaded, embellished dresses, all just too die for!

Was quite sad that some fashionistas were missing… would have loved to see what Miss Keira would have worn and Sienna Miller…. sob!

If only i had one of these- a stylist, like Rachel Zoe! My life would be so sorted!!
Rachel Zoe is a uber-famous stylish and coveted!! This lady has styled all the chic and glam hollywood gals. Nicole Richie,Mischa Barton,Rachel Bilson, Sienna Mille, Lindsay Lohan… and the list goes on.
All the glam and gorgeous and ‘It’ girls have been styled by Rachel!

Rachel is of course super glam herself and now has a book called A to Zoe and is in talks to host her own reality show-now that is a show I myself would love to watch!

Yesterday I went to see Atonement with the gorgeous Keira Knightley and my fave new hottie James Mcavoy. What a flick… romance,drama and all that jazz. Love a good sweeping war epic!
Anyhow the clothes were absolutely fabulous!! The 1930′s were a great time for style… ladies were elegant and people dressed up for dinner

 My favourite look in the entire movie was this gorgeous forrest green dress.Absolutely incredible,classic,elegant and very glam. It’s completely backless (mmm didn’t realise that was done in the English countryside in the 1930′s!) Madame Keira looks amazing in the dress and I suppose it does help being rakishly thin, although I do think she needs some serious meat on her skinny bones! I also love her hair in the movie, all wispy-the 1930 look suits her.
 
Am also loving the red lipstick she dons in the flick , it’s very in right now but I am not brave enough to wear it! Not everybody can pull off that look! I am however loving the red nails- so glad it’s having a comeback but only to be worn on short square nails!
