My son came home this week and proudly informed me he was pregnant , but needed my cooking midwifery skills to deliver his little bundle of joy into the world.....an egg!

He has informed his teacher that she needs help as she seems to have impregnated a whole class of students, male and female... an alien perhaps?

I boiled delivered the egg and he was named I.P. Nightly , the tamest of all the names that were presented, the rest are unprintable...

I.P.Nightly was handed over to his proud father who gave him endearing features with a permanent marker ; these included a butt crack and 6 fingered hand, because he's special !

He was laid in his basket and wrapped up in a pretty blanket ready for his first voyage into the big wide world.....

On the way to school the next morning my darling son starts giggling " Mom , did you know I.P.Nightly got laid last night?" - *sigh* teenage boy humour.

We get home that evening and my darling child asks me to boil deliver another egg.

"What happened to I.P. Nightly?"

" Um....I ate him "

"Why?"

"cause I was hungry..."

I.P.Nightly II has survived so far this week, he may even make it through the weekend.

There's just one thing my darling son hasn't thought of, he's going to a party tonight and he hasn't asked me if I'll babysit
