Life is...

So yesterday was my 1^st wedding anniversary. We received so many well wishes and it felt actually good. We decided to go for a Sunday lunch and opted for Beluga in Greenpoint. PS had sushi for starter and prawns for main, I was tired of seafood and had beef Carpaccio and a delicious steak. We both had chocolate truffle cake for dessert and drank a few cocktails.

My Sunday was absolutely blessed. On Friday evening I went to my parents to chat to brother, My dad is so deeply disappointed and my brother JP was just avoiding everyone.

Well as for myself, my spirit was deeply disappointed it was like someone stabbed a knife through my heart that’s how hurt I felt. Instantly I built a wall between myself and JP… and avoided him as well.  Then PS spoke to me to not do what I am doing as life is short and no one knows what the future holds.

During church on Sunday, a brother was testifying that he was at a funeral the Saturday and how sad the family was that they will never see their loved one again, and he realized while watching them how precious our loved ones are and we should appreciate them.

I started crying and the tears were rolling down, I prayed for God’s forgiveness for my attitude towards my brother and this wall that I built to be broken down.   Life goes on, it was not the end of the world that he failed grade 9 and he got a second chance, we should appreciate one another.

The afternoon when visited my parent, I asked him to forgive me… I was disappointed but life goes on we must appreciate and love each other as we don’t know what tomorrow holds.
